Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

If you find yourself in Charles City, and are hungry for Asian food, Lucky Dragon is your destination. Their food is freshly made. You won't find pre-fab foods that are identical to every other Chinese restaurant. Try the Imperial Chicken Wings from the appetizer selection. They are amazing! I didn't think I would care for them because of the pineapple sauce. I was wrong. The sauce doesn't taste strongly of pineapple. It's not a taste I can describe, other than, "Wow!" Their Egg Fu Young is delicious, and is served with a lovely stir-fry in sauce over the top of the patties. Unique, in my experience. Egg Drop Soup is served with most meals. It is heavenly. Great flavor and texture, and arrives topped with crunchy, wide, fried noodles. Don't be shy about asking for changes to your dish. Since everything is made from scratch, it's no problem to leave something out. Go there. I promise you'll be happy.

Very good food, took one star away for dated and cold atmosphere, but don't let that stop you from having some yummy Chinese food! Try the eggrolls!

I have yet to find a place that has better Chinese food then The Lucky Dragon. Every time I try a new Chinese restaurant I always find myself thinking how much better lucky Dragon is. I have been eating at the Lucky Dragon now for 10 years and have never had a bad experience. First off I will start with the atmosphere. It's a little outdated but has that authentic Chinese restaurant feel. The food is the best Chinese I've had! It is always reasonably priced with the amount of food you get. Their lunch menu is even less then dinner and you get a large portion! They have a large menu with great appetizers, soup, and entrees. Their crab rangoons are delicious! Every meal comes with a side of soup and I get the hot n' sour. My two favorite dishes are either the Orange Chicken or General's Tso Chicken! Both are always fresh and great quality! If you get the chance to stop by The Lucky Dragon do it! You will not regret it. Also by their request if going there with 5 or more make sure to call and make reservations

Got the Mongolian Beef along with some hot and sour soup. Omgosh - amazing food!! The beef was tender and not chewy, vegetables cooked perfect, and it wasn't greasy. Very friendly staff as well.

Great restaurant. Really fast service for carry out and for dine in orders. The food tastes very good and they have nice combos for groups with egg rolls, crab ragtime, hot tea, and entrees.
